I'M BACK!

So i took a long absense from the blogging world but now I am back and more ready than ever before. I chose to create a new blog seeing as my experience abroad is over and "britt goes brit" no longer applies.

The final months of my semester in London were unbelievable. I miss that place dearly but I am so grateful for the experience and will remember it forever. Our program ended on May 2 (the day after my 21st birthday) so my sister Courtney decided to come visit, celebrate my birthday with me, and travel around Europe for 2 weeks with me and my best friend Brittney. Needless to say, it was the experience of a lifetime! We went to Paris, Rome (my fave!), Florence, Venice, Amsterdam, and made a quick stop in Liverpool to see the home of the Beatles. The pictures capture the essence of the trip, but I wish I could go back to experience it all again.

Since I've been home though, I have been incredibly busy. I moved into a house with some of my friends from school in downtown Los Angeles. The house is adorable and really coming along (besides the fact that the power got shut off today-- whoops!)

Another exciting monument in my life -- I spent my first LEGAL trip in vegas this past weekend celebrating my friend Heather's 21st birthday. The trip was unforgettable and it felt so good to spend time with my high school girlfriends again, I've missed them more than I realized!

I've also been spending a lot of time working with The Collective CA. As some of you know, I want to work in the Music PR industry, so I am putting my amateur skills to good use and helping my friends out. The Collective CA is basically a huge group of friends and artists that have bound together to take a stand against the corporate music industry. They are writing, recording, producing, and performing their music all on their own and are giving it away for *FREE* !!! Crazy huh? I think it's pretty genius and the more work they put in, the better the bands are getting... I feel like a proud parent ;)

I love that I am devoting so much time to music these days. Although I am not even slightly musically inclined, music is like therapy for me and makes me feel so great. It's truly a great thing and I am so lucky to have such talented people in my life!

I love you all bunches

ps.
This is a video I made from the last Collective CA event on May 24, I hope you enjoy!
